OFFICE OF THE PUBLIC DEFENDER
     15th Judicial Circuit, West Palm Beach, FL        October 1997 - 2000
     Assistant Public Defender - Represent indigent clients charged with criminal 
      offenses, including appearances at bond hearings, arraignment, trials and various
      other court hearings. So far I have been lead counsel in 10 felony trials and more
      than 15 misdemeanor trials. I also conduct plea negotiations, depositions
     and write and argue various motions in court.

CAMDEN PUBLIC DEFENDANT'S OFFICE
     Camden, NJ                                                      Spring 1997
     Clinical Legal Intern - Observed central judicial processing and helped conduct
       inmate interviews for future legal representation.

    Family Law Clinical Legal Intern - Interviewed and advised clients on custody
       and support issues, represented clients in custody matters, negotiated and drafted
     custody agreements.

    Legal Intern - Interviewed and advised clients and represented them at
       Unemployment Referee Hearings and at the District Justice level. Also prepared
       motions, researched legal issues and assisted attorneys in preparing for hearings.
